I’ve poured everything I know into a 3-day course where I’ll be sharing my signature techniques, tips, and industry insights - everything I wish I’d known when I first started. You’ll leave with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to begin or grow your own nail business. Each day can also be booked individually (conditions apply), giving you flexibility with your learning.
All courses are fully ABT-accredited and insurable. My aim is simple: to empower you with the tools to build your career in a professional, creative, and confident way.

This beginner-friendly training day is your perfect starting point in the nail industry. Whether you dream of working in a salon, setting up your own nail business, or simply want to learn safe, professional gel polish application - you’ll leave feeling confident, informed, and ready to take your next step.
What We Cover:
- An introduction to the nail industry: professionalism, career paths, and getting started.
- ABT accreditation, insurance, and working safely.
- Health, safety and hygiene best practices.
- Nail and skin anatomy, disorders, and contraindications.
- Client consultation skills and understanding client needs.
- Manicure/gel polish kit overview.
- Natural nail prep: cuticle work, shaping, cleansing, buffing.
- Gel polish application: base coat, colour, and top coat using expert technique.
- Correct curing methods and lamp safety.
- Gel polish removal: safe soak-off without damage.
- Offering luxury add-ons: exfoliation, massage and client comfort.
- Aftercare guidance and product recommendations.
- Practical application session: working on yourself or a peer. Please ensure that your own nails are completely bare and free of any product, ahead of your training day.
- Final assessment with feedback.- A full training manual is included for you to take home, and you’ll receive your ABT-accredited certificate on successful completion.

Day two: Builder Gel for natural nails
Day Two Focus: Builder Gel Overlays and Silk Repairs for Natural Nails
Duration: 1 Day
Level: Intermediate: Must hold a gel polish certificate or have completed Day 1
Accreditation: ABT Accredited – Certificate issued on completion

This day is perfect for newly qualified techs building on their gel polish skills, as well as experienced nail artists who want to confidently introduce builder gel into their services. You’ll learn how to create structure and an apex, carry out maintenance and removals, and perform simple nail repairs with confidence.
What We Cover:
- Understanding builder gel: what it is, when and why to use it.
- Health, safety and hygiene best practices.
- Nail and skin anatomy, disorders, and contraindications.
- Client consultation skills and understanding client needs.
- Natural nail prep for structured overlays.
- Structured builder gel overlays: prep, product control, and creating a clean apex.
- Filing, shaping, and refining your overlays.
- Maintenance: rebalancing and managing regrowth.
- Removal methods that prioritise nail health, including soak-off and file-down techniques.
- Silk repairs on broken or damaged nails using builder gel.
- Practical session: structured overlays and repairs on yourself or a peer. Please ensure that your own nails are completely bare and free of any product, ahead of your training day.
- Final assessment with feedback.
- A full training manual is included for you to take home, and you’ll receive your ABT-accredited certificate on successful completion.

Day three: Nail Art Foundations & Building your Brand
Day Three Focus: For Creative Confidence & Growing your Personal Brand
Duration: 1 Day
Level: All levels: Must have completed Day 1 +/or 2)

Group Size: 1–2 learners
Time: 9:30am-5pm

Day 3 is your chance to get creative and put your new skills into practice with some of my signature minimal nail art designs. We’ll also dive into the essentials of building your brand, attracting clients, and using social media to get your work seen and celebrated.
What We Cover:
- Nail art tools and materials overview.
- Creating clean french tips, chrome application and line work.
- Layering techniques and protecting designs with top coat.
- Planning and executing cohesive nail art sets with minimal stress.
- Practical session: Practicing nail art techniques on a nail wheel, yourself or each other. Please ensure that your own nails are completely bare and free of any product, ahead of your training day.- Defining your personal brand as a nail artist.
- Create a cohesive, professional Instagram profile reflecting your personal brand.
- Photographing your work: lighting, framing, and editing basics.
- Building visibility online: bio writing, hashtag use, and creating engaging content.
- Ethical online conduct: respecting others and building a supportive presence online.
- Client communication and management.
- A full training manual is included for you to take home, and you’ll receive your ABT-accredited certificate on successful completion.
- Day 3 can be booked as part of the full 3-day The Signature Series package or individually at a later date, if you’ve already completed Day 1 +/or 2.
Accreditation & Certificates
All of my courses are ABT accredited, meaning they meet high industry standards. Upon successful completion, you will receive a recognised certificate allowing you to gain insurance and work professionally. As a little thank you, I have a unique discount code that I am able to provide to you upon successful completion of your course, which will enable you to save 10% off any of ABT's individual membership and insurance packages.
Training Location
Located in central Rugby, Warwickshire, your training will take place in my private studio set within a beautiful, character-filled period building. The full studio address will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
The building is shared with a small community of health and wellbeing professionals, creating a peaceful and professional atmosphere that’s ideal for focused, industry-specific learning.
Just a short walk from the town centre and close to plenty of parking, it’s perfect for a pre-course coffee or dinner afterwards.
Upstairs, my studio is designed to feel peaceful and welcoming, with a clean, professional setup to help you feel at ease while you learn.
Please note: The studio is accessed via stairs. Bathroom facilities are available on-site.
